Impact of Mental Health on Singapore Society

Dr Mok Yee Ming received his MBBCh from Trinity College, Dublin in 1996, and Master of Medicine (Psychiatry) in 2004 and completed his Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy in 2001. He was entered as a Fellow into the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2016. He has received training as a clinical and research Fellow at the Regional Affective Disorders Service, Newcastle Upon Tyne in the management of treatment resistant mood disorders and completed an attachment with the National Affective Disorder Unit in the Royal Bethlem Hospital, London. He is a senior consultant and Chief, department of Mood and Anxiety disorders in the Institute of Mental Health (IMH).

Dr Mok’s main area of interest is in the area of mood disorders (depression, anxiety and biopolar disorders) and he has completed research projects, clinical pathways as well as authored book chapters on the subject.
